In order to announce the time the bell had to be rung several times. In the past this job was done by human power which, with the help of ropes, moved the bell against the hammer. “Ring the bell, please!” is constructed in order to move the entire clock tower towards the bell and bounce it off it. Being pushed forward by visitors the clock tower starts to move resulting in loud bell ringing which sounds synchronically to the movement. The impression created is that the clock tower is smashing against a huge massive bell inside. Upon checking on the process inside the tower one discovers nothing but an empty roof construction including a loudspeaker.
