A garage is a common element being part of almost every house. Sometimes the garage space is used as storage, tool shop, or even suicide cabin. I chose to reinvent the fundamental function of a garage. The garage opens itself in a reversed direction by using its two garage doors as static walls which make this opening function possible. Immediately after having arrived at the apex the closing procedure commences. As one walks past the installation he recognizes the second garage door in the back. Thus the garage loses is original function and becomes a mirrored artificial element catching much more attention than the garage in its architectural history. It used to be invented just for function and by pointing out this function it becomes more than just agarage.
